What is the Linkside’s story? Linkside began with the inspiration of founder, Bob Hurdle, a real estate developer and Columbia, Missouri native. Bob recognized the need for beautiful, well-built and uniquely-designed homes – homes that align well with the changing priorities of older adults. Following graduation from Rock Bridge High School and the University of Missouri-Columbia, Bob relocated to California and founded ADCO, a construction business. ADCO grew to over 500 employees and was recognized as an industry leader. At the pinnacle of his success, Bob decided to sell the business and return to his home town to bring his dream of Linkside to life.
Meet the Linkside Team! Bob Hurdle is the developer. He is on site every day directing development efforts. Blake Hurdle is Bob’s son and serves as project manager. Blake oversees construction and day-to-day operations. In addition to the onsite team and professional groundskeepers, you also have access to the staff at the Club at Old Hawthorne. The club has a general manager, membership director, executive chef, head golf professional, fitness director, tennis & pickleball director, and a private event manager.
