Quality of life, especially as we age, is important to all of us. The reality is that our quality of life can change as we get older. One of the biggest influences in our overall satisfaction with life is our health. According to the World Health Organization, healthy aging is defined as “the process of developing and maintaining the functional ability that enables well-being in older age.” Functional ability is about having the capabilities that enable all people to be and do what they value.
